Sync GPS

Overview

Sync GPS is a data synchronization system. It allows a precise time tagging for two independent acquisition systems, synchronizing data from a GPS/INS module and for example a cameras trigger signals. In the next picture you can see an explanation schema for syncing camera or an hyper-spectral sensor data with GPS time.

Sync GPS System

Output file (Sync Data) reports for every trigger frame its own time referred to GPS clock. This file, with images recorded from camera, can be used with our WNavTool software for creating navigation data (compatible also with Caligeo from Specim) or custom data.
In the next picture you can see the result of WNavTool: by having signal representations and Sync Data you can obtain a navigation info with which you can now exactly (with precision of GPS system) time and position of your system and data measured in that moment.
